The session I attended was a discussion on the keynote speakers address at the '08 conference. It was interesting to hear many different peoples thoughts on technology in education all over the world. I had no idea that it was such a debate. However, I really don't think that anyone is against using technology in the classroom. Everyone who is involved in education should understand that it is necessary for students to learn and for teachers to learn and adapt to the classroom. Just as it is necessary for physicians to learn new procedures for the benefit of their practice and their patients, it is also necessary for teachers to learn and adapt new technology to their practice.
